From the founding of PM Assembly, sustainability has always been a key goal. This goal is important not only to the owners and employees for job stability, but to the customer for a reliable supply of assemblies. In this industry, and especially in the current economic climate, we have seen too many customers left high and dry due to the lack of responsibility on the part of CEMs to plan for hard times. At best, there is an interruption in service; at worst, the materials needed for assemblies could be confiscated and held, including long lead and high cost items. For these reasons, PM Assembly has taken many steps to ensure sustainability. These include: 

·         Debt control- Less outflow of cash is easier to withstand during the low economic times. We have managed to grow at a rapid rate without growing our debt.

·         Emergency fund- We see it as necessary to maintain a cash fund to cover unforeseen circumstances and new opportunities.

·         Low employee turnover- Most of us like working at PM Assembly. We consider our employees to be one of our biggest assets. Sustaining quality and throughput relies heavily on good people.

·         Automation- Again, repeatability and speed, and less wear and tear on the workforce.

·         Green Initiatives- Green building, recycling, and environmental awareness and responsibility extend the sustainability mentality well beyond our walls.  Our responsibility to our customers, employees and the environment is a high priority. The added benefit of all of this is lower cost of doing business, which makes our pricing more competitive.
